BOOKING POLICY & SCHEDULE OF FEES
PeachTree Mental Health
Effective Date 25th of November 2025


At PeachTree Mental Health (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we aim to provide consistent, high-quality care. To support this, we have policies in place around booking, rescheduling, cancellations, and fees. This ensures fairness for all clients and helps us manage our time and services effectively.

Referral Pathways

PeachTree Mental Health accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from General Practitioners and other services with your consent. Referrals can be emailed to info@thepeachtree.com.au.


Access

PeachTree Mental Health currently provides services via face-to-face appointments and/or telehealth. 
 

Funding Support Options

Medicare

If you have an Australian Medicare card, your General Practitioner can refer you with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which allows you to access a rebate for up to 10 individual sessions at PeachTree Mental Health within a 12-month period.

​

Private Health Insurance

Some private health funds provide rebates for services offered by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers. Please check with your provider regarding eligibility and restrictions. A receipt can be provided for claims.

​

NDIS Participants

PeachTree Mental Health is not a registered NDIS provider. Participants can access services using their NDIS plan if they are self or plan managed.
Please review your eligibility for Improved Daily Living services with your Plan Manager/Support Coordinator or contact us for assistance. Before services commence, we will ask you to provide us with your NDIS Plan and sign a service agreement.

NDIS invoices will be forwarded to individuals or Plan Managers.

Once payment has been made, and if you have provided us with your Medicare details, you can ask us to process any rebates to your nominated bank account. It generally arrives within 24 hours, but please note that we do not take responsibility for delays outside of our direct control.

Cancellation & Non-Attendance

At PeachTree Mental Health, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be changed. Our goal is to offer flexibility while ensuring that appointment times remain available for those who need them.

If an appointment needs to be cancelled by our service, you will be notified as soon as possible via text message. Every effort will be made to offer an alternative appointment time at the earliest convenience.

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
 

  • Privately Paying Clients & Mental Health Treatment Plans: At least 24 hours’ notice is required.

  • NDIS Funded Services: At least 48 hours’ notice is required.
     

If less notice is provided or you do not attend your session, a one-time grace will be applied on the first occasion. Subsequent late cancellations or non-attendance will incur the full session fee (100%), payable before future appointments can be confirmed. This fee is a private charge and is not claimable through Medicare or private health insurance. This policy applies to all clients, including those receiving bulk-billed services under a Mental Health Treatment Plan.


Non-attendance will be recorded 15-minutes after the appointment time has started. Late arrivals within the 15-minute grace period are welcome to attend; however, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled time and cannot be extended. 


Please consider your bookings carefully. If multiple cancellations or rescheduled appointments occur, PeachTree Mental Health may cancel future appointments and refuse further services.

Fees

Services provided by PeachTree Mental Health are non-refundable.​​

​

Professional Counselling

•    Standard Appointment with a Mental Health Treatment Plan: $150 per 50 minutes with a $87.24 Medicare rebate. Out of pocket cost = $62.76. 
•    Standard Appointment – Private Payment: $150 per 50 minutes.

 

Professional / Clinical Supervision
​

•    Working Professionals: $120 per 60 minutes
•    Undergraduate Students: $100 per 60 minutes

Please check with your profession’s governing body to ensure professional / clinician supervision from an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker is approved. 

 

Assessment

Fees are determined based on type and scope. All costs will be detailed in a service agreement before work commences, a deposit will be required, and all accounts must be paid before reports are finalised and released. 
 

Psychosocial Support

•    NDIS Support Category: Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living 
•    Service Type: Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy – Other Therapy – Social Worker

Letters and Reports
Requests for letters of support, reports, or documentation completed outside the scope of a formal assessment may attract a fee. This fee is charged at the same hourly rate as the associated service (e.g. counselling, psychosocial support, or supervision).
Please note that these services are not eligible for Medicare rebates and are billed separately. An estimate of time and cost can be provided upon request
